Here’s an in-depth view of how aural senses work 🙂
Wow! Didn’t realize that I’ve been away for so long!
Haven’t really been on the positive side of life recently, which directly affects my inspiration and outlook. Bummer that I won’t be travelling to attend some kick ass festivals that are happening such as Sun and Bass, Outlook/Dimensions, Bass Coast, Fusion, Echo, and other bass related festivals.
Anyway, I’ve come across this tune a while ago and I think it’s about time I post it here. It’s a remix done by one of my favorite producers, Fracture.
Haven’t posted a track in a while .. just bumped into this .. different!
Love the production.
Black Sabbath are back with the original line-up that originally ventured into the “darkness” of music and created what is known as heavy metal. Guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward haven’t released an album together since Ozzy’s dismissal from the band in 1979, due to his excessive drug use. However, the album recording went ahead without Bill Ward due to a “contractual dispute” and has been replaced by Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave‘s drummer, Brad Wilk. (Notice both drummers have the same initials 😛 )
The Score has been running a fairly impressive season with a diverse selection of highly distinguished classical musicians from all over the globe. From the “kings of the classical saxophone” to Catrin Finch, the former official harpist to The Prince of Wales; The Score felt “there can be no better choice to reflect Dubai’s rich diversity and cultural abundance” than to conclude with a globally acclaimed artist, Amjad Ali Khan.
Check out this cover of a Radiohead classic done with a middle-eastern flavor, adding a cello and a oud!
